Respondents in all W.Ps COMMON PRAYER:- Writ Petitions - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner plying his vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-58-Q-6825, TN-58-K-8886, TN-58-K8770, TN-57-K-7788, in the diverted route from Thattankulam Junction to Narasingam by taking a turn left at Othakadai Melur Junction and travel via High Court instead of Thattankulam Junction to Narasingam via Thattankulam until Motorable condition is restored in the original route within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. Murugan (in all WPs) Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER The petitioners hold valid stage carriage permits in respect of Mini Buses bearing Registration Nos.TN-58-Q-6825 , TN-58-K-8886 , TN-58-K-8770 , TN-57-K-7788 plying from Mattuthavani Bus stand to Arumbanur Pudur, for the period 25.08.2015 to 24.08.2020 , 12.09.2015 to 11.09.2020 , 01.09.2015 to 31.08.2020 and 23.01.2016 to 22.01.2021, respectively.

2. The grievance of the petitioners is that the roads in the stated route are in unmotorable condition. They state that a median has been constructed, causing hardship, making the exploitation of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the route unviable. It is for redressal of the aforesaid grounds that the petitioners have filed representations all dated 21.11.2014 before the respondents.

3. In counter, the respondents deny the allegations of the petitioners. Mr.R.Murugan, learned Additional Government Pleader also states, in response to the photographs circulated by the petitioners to establish the condition of the road in question, that the roads are today motorable.

4. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioners, after hearing them, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from date of receipt of the order.

5. The Writ Petitions are disposed of in the above terms. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
