This petition has been filed to quash the case in crime No.242 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Theni Police Station, Theni District as against the petitioner. 2.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submitted that the 2nd respondent has completed the investigation in crime No.242 of 2018 on the file of the 1st respondent police and they have yet to file the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate concerned.

3.Considering the said submission, this Court is of the view that since the 1st respondent competed the investigation, there is no question to quash the FIR and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous.

4.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed. However, the 1st respondent is directed to file the final report https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
