2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that a case has been registered against the petitioner/accused for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420, 468, 471, 472, 467, 120(B), 465 and 477(A) IPC. It is submitted that the petitioner is working as Assistant Commissioner of Labour and due to her retirement in the next year and on account of pendency of this case, she is apprehending that it would be difficult to settle her retirement benefits and therefore, she sought for a direction to early disposal of C.C.No.961 of 2021.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondent, on the other hand, submits that there are about 380 witnesses to be examined as per the charge sheet. It is further submitted that the prosecution will explore possibility of examining only some of the witnesses and marking the documents pertaining to all the witnesses through the Investigating Officer, thereby, the trial period will get reduced considerably.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondent, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Tiruchirappalli, is directed to expedite the disposal of 2/4

C.C.No.961 of 2021, keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is working as employee and would be retiring in the next year.
