The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal pending on his file in Na.Ka.No.A3/169/2025, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Mrs.R.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner filed an application before the first respondent seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of her brothers namely, J.J.Jamal, Sahul Hameed and restoration of the same in the name of the petitioner's father. Pursuant to the application submitted by the petitioner, the first respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No. A3/169/2025, dated 31.01.2025 directed the second respondent to file a report on the application of the petitioner. Thereafter, there is no 2/5
progress in the matter. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for respondents would submit that the appeal pending on the file of the first respondent will be disposed of in accordance with law. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry pending on his file in Na.Ka.No. A3/169/2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, her above mentioned brothers and other interested parties. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
