This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to conduct an enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2019 thereby provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.20756 of 2019 3.Without going into the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2019, after giving notice to the 4th respondent and after giving opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent, he shall pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
