Respondents PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 7 to take action and conduct appropriate enquiry over the wrong subdivision made in SF.No.110/5C, at Angarai Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichirappalli District, and thereby rectify the wrong sub division made, thereby enabling the parties to enjoy their own property as per their title deed.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to 1 to 7 to take action and conduct appropriate enquiry over the wrong subdivision made in SF.No.110/5C, at Angarai Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichirappalli District, and thereby rectify the wrong sub division made, thereby enabling the parties to enjoy their own property as per their title deed. 2/5

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 7.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 28.07.2023 to rectify the wrong subdivision SF.No.110/5C, at Angarai Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichirappalli. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, informs the Court that on the basis of the representation made, the Tahsildar has referred the said representation to the Revenue Divisional Officer. The Revenue Divisional Officer would dispose of the representation within a period of eight weeks.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Lalgudi/4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from 3/5

the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say that if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
