ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the first respondent herein, under which, the request for grant of separate patta in favour of the petitioner, has been rejected. 2.The authority has found that the disputed property originally belongs to one Amma Pillai and thereafter, it has devolved upon so many legal heirs. Hence, the request for issuance of separate patta in favour of the petitioner is not legally sustainable. As against the order passed by the first respondent, the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy of statutory appeal before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer.

3.Hence without expressing any opinion on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. The petitioner is at liberty to file an appeal before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer.
