ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 IPC, in Crime No.70 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 14.02.2021, the accused came to the house of the defacto complainant and took him in his two wheeler, to show the route for a newly constructed house and asked him to wait in the bus stand. Thereafter, the accused went to the house of the defacto complainant and asked his wife to give the bag with cash and his cell phone, as if, the defacto complainant instructed him to get cash and cell phone. Hence, the complaint. 3.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that a false case was foisted against the petitioner. The petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Hence, prays to release him on anticipatory bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.16414 of 2022 4.On the side of prosecution, it is stated that petitioner is having 14 previous cases and he is a notorious accused and prayed to dismiss the petition.

5.Considering the nature of the case and the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
