This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to give patta in respect of the property in Survey No.205/7B2, T.S.No.1/28 situated at E-Block, Karuthapuliyampatti village, Melur taluk, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents for R1 to R4.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the third respondent dated 16.05.2023 for issuance of patta. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law. 2/4

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say that if any rival claims, the same shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
