PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to permit the petitioner to conduct the Aadi Festival such as Pooja and Annadhanam and other Rituals to Arulmigu Muthupandiyan Temple and 27 associated deities situated in Kodalvavi Village Ottanchathiram, Dindigul District in S.No.270/2 to an extent of 2 acres and 62.5 cents scheduled to be conducted on the date of 15th and 16th August 2023 and give adequate protection during the festival. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that Peace Committee Meeting has already been conducted on 14.08.2023 and as per the Resolution passed in the Committee, this year the Festival is being conducted by both parties.
