ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 528 of BNSS., seeking orders, to call for the records relating to the case in Crime No.435 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same as illegal so far as the petitioner is concerned.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today (i.e.,05.08.2024), the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has laid the final report and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.532 of 2024 and the same is pending on the file of the Court of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Theni.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
