ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action upon the respondents 3 to 5 by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.07.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the fourth respondent has given a statement before the Police that he has received the entire amount and the matter was settled and now at the instance of the fourth respondent, the third respondent has been harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State 2/4

would submit on the basis of the complaint given by the fourth respondent as well as the petitioner, enquiry was conducted and by directing the fourth respondent to approach the competent Civil Court, the petition was ordered to be closed.

4. But the fact remains that the petitioner has raised serious allegations against the third respondent. Hence, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry with regard to the complaint of the petitioner and take a decision in the manner known to law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
