ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection for the "Vinayagar Sathurthi Orvalam" and for procession from Kamarajar Colony South Street, Chenkottai, Tenkasi District, based on the petitioner representation, dated 14.08.2024.

2. The prayer in the writ petition is to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2024 and permit him to take out procession after the Vinayagar Sathurthi day.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that already the route, date and time have been fixed and the petitioner's application will also be taken up along with the others and permission will be duly granted.

4. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2024 and accord permission in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
