O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the Section 15(2) notice issued by the second respondent seeking to acquire the land belonging to the petitioner.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader had produced a letter of the District Collector addressed to the Additional Engineer, Highways Department in Na.Ka.E3/18052/2022 and the letter of the Assistant Additional Engineer to the Additional Engineer in Na.Ka.No.1/2023/A1 dated 30.01.2023. These two letters are taken as part of the record.

3.A perusal of these letters would show that the land acquisition proceedings have been dropped. In view of the specific statements made in the aforesaid letters, no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed.
