[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order, dated 20.04.2023, made in W.P.(MD) No.8244 of 2023.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent furnished a copy of the letter, dated 30.10.2023, sent by the Tahsildar, Thiruverumbur, to the Additional Advocate General-VI, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, along with photographs stating that the flag mast erected in the Highways Road has been removed and the road is kept open for the benefit of the road users / general public.
