This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the petitioner's younger brother Sankar @ Kuttai Sankar S/O Boominathan, aged about 23 years before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, from the Thanjavur Medical College Police Station, Thanjavur, submitted that the petitioner's younger brother is a habitual 2/4

offender involved in a case in Crime No.324 of 2025 registered by the Inspector of Police, Thanjavur Medical College Police Station, Thanjavur and that he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody by the learned Judicial Magistrate No. 2, Thanjavur.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
