Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

2. The second petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.757 of 2021 registered on the file of the third respondent under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. The second petitioner is none other than the father of the deceased.

4. It is not open to this Court to monitor the investigation or direct the investigation to proceed in a particular manner. Therefore, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report before the jurisdictional Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
