The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.05.2018 seeking to ensure that no Villager including the petitioner be prevented from participating / contributing to the Temple Festival of Arulmigu Malai Muthumariamman, Pinnavasal Village, Peravuarani Taluk, Thanjavur District scheduled to be held from 29.05.2018 to 14.06.2018.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in this petition has become infructuous, since the function itself was conducted as scheduled.

3. Recording the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
