: Respondent PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for the willful and deliberate disobedience to the orders of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.14785 of 2021, dated 19.08.2021.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue an order or orders or directions or writs in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.03.2020 relating to modify the mistakes made in settlement register and pass orders to issue patta to the petitioner`s ancestral properties situated in SF.No.68/7A Kudanjadi Utkadai, Kayangulam Group, Sivagangai Taluk and Sivagangai District and pass appropriate orders within the time frame fixed by this Honble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER

Alleging non-compliance of the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.14785 of 2021, dated 19.08.2021, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader produced a copy of the proceedings of the Commissioner of Land Administration dated 19.01.2022 and submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2020 has been considered and rejected, as such, the orders of this Court has been complied with. Cont.P.(MD)No.1587 of 2021 dated 19.01.2022 has been served on the petitioner as well as the petitioner's Counsel.

3.In view of the above submission, this contempt petition stands closed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the proceedings dated 19.01.2022, if so advised.
