Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to transfer the investigation in Crime No.335 of 2020 on the file of the fourth respondent to the second respondent or any other independent agency on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 10.11.2020.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.M.Anbunidhi, Additional Public Prosecutor for the petitioner(s), this Court made the following order:

This miscellaneous petition has been filed to grant further six months time to complete the investigation.

2.This Court has passed an order to complete the investigation within two months and now the petitioner filed the present petition by stating that the body of the deceased was thrown into the river on heavily flooded water. Inspite of best efforts, they are unable to find out the body and the details of the missing second respondent's husband were forwarded to crime record Bureau to circulate to all 2/4

over Tamil Nadu, but valuable clue has not yet been received. Still they are searching and investigating the case and also summoned the second respondent and other witnesses and made enquiry. However, they are unable to complete the investigation. Therefore, six months time is sought for completion of investigation. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent has also no objection to extend the time.

4.Considering the reasons stated by the petitioner, the time to complete the investigation is extended by two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
