Heard Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the third respondent.
2.This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent to include the petitioner's name and call for the petitioner for certificate verification conducted by the second respondent, based on the marks obtained by her for the recruitment to the post of Nurses on contract and consolidated pay basis, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.09.2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.20639 of 2019 The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the petitioner is fully eligible to be selected and appointed as Nurse. The third respondent did not call the petitioner for certificate verification, but called the candidates, who got lesser marks, for certificate verification.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submitted that the petitioner belongs to SC community and she secured 58 marks. The cut off mark fixed for SC community is 64 marks and the last candidate has secured 64 marks. The petitioner is not within the zone of consideration and he prayed for dismissal of the Writ Petition.
4.In view of the above, the petitioner is not entitled for the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
