ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners /accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the 1/3

respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1-A), 4(1)(a) and 24 of TN Prohibition Act, in Cr.No.331 of 2024, seek anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

3. It is submitted that the (*)second petitioner herein was already arrested.

4. Considering the fact that even from the (*)first petitioner totally 140 bottles of liquor have been recovered, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 23/08/2024 (*)Corrected as per the order of this Hon'ble Court in CRL OP(MD)No.13863 of 2024 dated 03/09/2024.
