PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned proceeding in Letter.No.B12 / 8223 / 2018 dated 05/04/2018 issued by the second respondent and quash the same consequently direct the respondents not to indulge in any such kind of activities by way of threatening the cable TV operators by imposing some onerous conditions in payment of digital service subscription .

This writ petition is filed as against the proceedings of the Managing Director, Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited/the second respondent herein, dated 05.04.2018, intimating the petitioner that if the analog subscription has not been collected, the second respondent would stop the digital service connection to the petitioner.

2.Today(06.12.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that the relief sought for by the petitioner has now become infructuous and seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs.
