ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of B.N.S.S., seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to withdraw the investigation in Crime No.371 of 2023 pending on the file of the third respondent and transfer the same to anyother competent officer for fair investigation in the interest of justice.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.371 of 2023 and they have already examined eight witnesses and the investigation is pending. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the third respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.371 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
