ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition invoking Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for expeditious disposal of the suit in R.L.T.O.P. No. 1 of 2021 on the file of the Rent Controller (District Munsif Court), Tiruchendur, (hereinafter referred to as 'the Trial Court' for the sake of clarity and convenience).

Heard Mr. T.Selvan, Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, Mr. M.Maran, Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent and perused the materials available on record.

In furtherance to the order dated 16.04.2024 passed by this Court, the District Munsif (FAC), Tiruchendur has sent a report dated 02.05.2024, in D. No. 150/2024, which reads as follows:- "I am humbly submit that the Hon'ble Madurai Bench of Madras High court, Madurai has directed to report the sInduge of R.L.T.O.P.No.1 of 2021 on the file of District Munsif Court of Tiruchendur for the reference in CRP(MD). No.926 of 2024 on the file of the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai.

I further humbly submit to report that R.L.T.O.P.No.1 of 2021 on the file of District Munsif Court of Tiruchendur was Induken on file on 14.07.2021 and on 16.08.2021 Advocate Tr.P.Selvan Amunas filed vakalath for Respondent and posted for counter. On 07.07.2023 the counsel for the petitioner filed a petition under order 3 Rule 2 CPC along with 17.10.22 dated General Power of Attonery for the petitioner and the petition was numbered as I.A.No.1 of 2023 and counter was filed on 18.08.2023 and the same was allowed on 19.03.2024 and the main R.L.T.O.P.No.1 of 2021 was posted for counter to 14.06.2024.

Thus I am submitting this report as called for in the above 2nd reference cited.

In view of the above explanation, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif (FAC) Tiruchendur, to dispose the R.L.T.O.P.No.1 of 2021, as expeditiously as possible.
