O RDER This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2021, dated 20.10.2021, on the file of the respondent Police and file the final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner / defacto complainant that on a complaint given by the petitioner / defacto complainant, the respondent Police have registered a case for the offences under Sections 498 A, 294(b), 506(i) and 354 of I.P.C and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, in Crime No.21 of 2021 against four accused. However, it is submitted that no substantial progress in the investigation.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that they have examined totally eight witnesses and investigation is almost completed and within a short time, they will file the final report.

4. Considering the submissions made by both sides and on perusal of records, this petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to expedite 2/4

the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2021 and file the final report before the concerned Court as expeditiously as possible not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
