O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide protection to the petitioner for irrigation maintenance work on the basis of a decree passed in O.S.No.373 of 2013 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Pudukottai.
2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that even after passing of the decree in favour of the petitioner, the rival parties have been creating problems for irrigation maintenance of the suit properties in O.S.No.373 of 2013 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Pudukottai. Since the petitioner has filed a complaint on 25.04.2023 to the police, no action has been taken and therefore, sought for suitable directions.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the petitioner's representation is registered as CSR.No.102 of 2023 and during the course of enquiry, the petitioner has informed the police that he has not made any complaint in respect of the issue against the rival parties. 2/4
4.Considering the circumstances, this Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to complete the enquiry in CSR.No.102 of 2023 as quickly as possible, not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by issuing notice to all the parties concerned and on receipt of such notice, the petitioner is directed to appear before the police and make submissions.
