O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Deputy Regional Manager of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Limited, seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent to disburse the encashment of earned leave with an accrued interest.

2. As per the order dated 29.01.2020, the petitioner has been permitted to retire from service with effect from 31.01.2020.

3. It is an admitted on either side that there is no provision under the Service Regulations of the Civil Supplies Corporation to continue the disciplinary proceedings beyond the date of retirement. It is also an admitted fact that the respondent Corporation has released all the terminal benefits except the earned leave.

4. In view of the above said facts, the respondents are directed to release the earned leave of the writ petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
