The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to instruct the respondents 2 and 3 to issue joint patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the land situate in Survey No.236/1 to an extent of 0.52 hectares in Sembukudipatti village, Thanichiyam Revenue Village, Vadipatty Taluk, Madurai District, by considering his representation, dated 25.06.2025.
2.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/5
3.According to the petitioner, the subject property belongs to his family and the same was acquired by the first respondent in the year 1998. The acquisition proceedings was challenged by the petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.1072 of 2012 and the same was allowed by this Court, vide order dated 25.09.2018. Therefore, the petitioner submitted instant representation seeking restoration of patta in the name of the petitioner and his siblings. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.
4.The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the law. 5.In the view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to forward the instant representation of the petitioner to the Tahsildar, Vadipatti, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The said authority shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits, within a further period of twelve weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
