O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.164 of 2015 registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 355, 506(ii) and 120(b) of IPC.

2.The defacto complainant/Pandiyammal is present before this Court in person.

She has been duly identified by Mr.S.Balakrishnan, Sub Inspector of Police attached to the first respondent police station. The parties have filed a memo of compromise dated 08.09.2021.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.17577 of 2021 pursue the complaint. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. The impugned FIR is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
