The petitioner, with a grievance that though a case in Crime No.346 of 2025 has been registered on the complaint of this petitioner, the respondent police have not included the offence under the relevant provisions of Tamil Nadu Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992, has approached this Court.

2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the official respondents, on instructions submits that the respondent police have filed an alteration report to the FIR in Crime No.346 of 2025, by altering the offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 351(2), 329(4) of BNS and Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992. 3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the grievance of the petitioner has been addressed by way of filing an alteration report, including the offence under Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Property (Prevention of Damage and 2/4

Loss) Act, 1992, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent police to conduct the investigation in a fair manner.
