This writ petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to give permission and protection to the petitioner's village temple festival of "Arulmigu Balakrishnasamy Thirukovil", which will be held on 26.08.2024 to 28.08.2024 at their village of Devadhanapatti, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the temple festival is already over and nothing survives for further adjudication.
