[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed for directing the respondents 1 and 2 to grant ordinary leave for the period of 30 days without escort to the petitioner's son namely, P.Sasikumar, S/o. Periyasamy, Convict Prisoner PID No.221316, confined at Central Prison, Trichy, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2025. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the father of the convict prisoner and he is living along with the children of the convict prisoner. The wife of the petitioner died two years back and the house in which the petitioner and the children are residing, is in a dilapidated condition and due to old age, the petitioner is unable to mobilise money for renovation of the house. Hence, he made a representation dated 25.06.2025 to the respondents to grant 30 days of ordinary leave to his son, but the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition. Page No.2 of 4

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the respondents will consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2025 within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court. 4.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2025, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
