ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking Police protection to the petitioner for functioning as Muthavalli of Hazrath Nizamudeen Avuliya Dharga Shariff Waqf in the light of the order passed by the first respondent in Se.Mu.Anai/8684/24/Aa9/Thanjai dated 11.04.2025. 2.The petitioner claims that he is the Muthavalli of Hazrath Nizamudeen Avuliya Dharga Shariff Waqf. The fifth respondent is preventing him to discharge his duty. He has lodged a complaint as against the fifth respondent before the second respondent Police. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner filed the present petition.

3.This Court is of the view that it is a dispute, which has to be sorted out by Waqf Board itself and the Police are not supposed to interfere into the internal affairs of the Waqf. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to take appropriate action and ensure that the petitioner/Muthavalli is performing his duty, without any threat. No costs.
