ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.3, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody 1/3

on 23.05.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(C), 29(1) and Section 25 of NDPS Act, in Crime No.8 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused were found in illegal possession of 22 kg of Ganja. Hence, the case.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Considering the nature of the allegations in this case that the petitioner is said to have been in possession of 22 kilograms of ganja and that the contraband was also produced before the learned magistrate while at the time of remand of the accused itself and that the petitioner being the owner of the vehicle, in which, the contraband was transported and that the contact details of the petitioner with the other accused also being available and that the investigation is at the nascent stage, this is not a fit case for grant of bail.
