ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to issue patta in respect of the property situated in S.No.534 situated at Thalavoipuram, Nambithalaivanpatti Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli Distric by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. According to the petitioner, he has been residing in the subject property by putting up a house for the past 75 years and based on the long possession he has submitted a representation on 12.06.2025, seeking issuance of grant of Patta. However, the same has not been considered to date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 2/4

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12.06.2025 will be considered within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
