O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to carry out necessary corrections in the Revenue records pertaining to 1741/1 old Survey No.702/1A1A1 part an extent of 21 cents, situated in Charanmahadevi Village, Tirunelveli District and issue patta based on the title deeds of the petitioner.
2. The petitioner had sent a representation to the second respondent herein as early as in the year 2012. According to the petitioner, the same is still pending.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader would bring to the notice of this Court that a suit in O.S.No.151 of 2010 with regard to the said property filed by the petitioner is still pending for adjudication.
4. Be that as it may, the petitioner had submitted a representation in the year 2012, which is still not been disposed of by the second respondent.
5. Considering the fact that the said representation has been made as early as in the year 2012, the petitioner is directed to approach the second respondent by making a fresh representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the second respondent shall dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
6. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
