ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to sub divide and issue separate Patta in respect of the property purchased by him in S.No.15/4A in Sivarakkottai Village, Kallikudi Taluk, Madurai District.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4. According to the petitioner, he purchased 1200 sq.ft of land in Plot No.109 in the above mentioned survey number under a registered sale deed dated 20.04.2000. He submitted an online application on 06.10.2024, seeking issuance of separate Patta, however, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 2/6
5. The learned Additional Government who takes notice for the respondents would submit that Patta for the subject property stands in the name of three persons who are not vendors of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner's request has not been considered.
6. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the names of some of the purchaser like the petitioner has been included in Patta No.1265 erroneously for the entire extent of the land. Therefore, the respondents may be directed to consider the request of the petitioner.

In view of the rival contentions raised by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 06.10.2024 in A.No. 2024/0105/24/663545 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of 3/6
receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the pattadhars mentioned in Patta No.1265.
8. With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
