ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2019.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that he is senior to one Prathap Chandran. While so, the said Prathap Chandran was shown as senior to the petitioner in the seniority list for promotion to the post of Overseer. On his objection, the petitioner's name was placed above the said Prathap Chandran's name and the petitioner was promoted as Overseer on 15.12.2008 in the third respondent 1/3

Municipality. Again, the panel list was prepared for promotion to the post of Assistant Engineer. The said Prathap Chandran's name was placed above the petitioner's name. Hence, the petitioner filed W.P (MD).No.214 of 2018, challenging the seniority list dated 18.12.2017 and the same is pending. While so, some of the Overseers were promoted as per the earlier seniority list. Again, the said Prathap Chandran's name was shown above to the petitioner's name in the seniority list. The petitioner submitted his objection, by way of representation, dated 10.08.2019 to the second respondent through the fourth respondent. The said objection has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 3.Heard Mr.G.R.Satish, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.C.M.Mari Chellaiah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.J.Senthilkumariah, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent and Mr.J.Lawrence, learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.

4.Considering the above materials and the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.08.2019, after hearing the petitioner and the said Prathap Chandran and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
