This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to expedite the trial in Spl.SC.No.344 of 2023 pending on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases Under POCSO Act, Theni, Theni District. 1/4

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the trial is already proceeding and PW.1 has been examined. Now, the case was posted for examination of LW.2 to L.W.4 on 03.09.2024.

3. Considering the same and also considering the case is of the year 2023, the learned Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases Under POCSO Act, Theni, Theni District, is directed to take up the case in Spl.SC.No.344 of 2023 for early disposal and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
