The petitioners have approached this Court that the respondent police is harassing them under the guise of an enquiry in a civil dispute.

2.The petitioners are accused in Crime No.1 of 2022 on the file of the third respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 120(B), 420, 406, 408, 409, 466, 467, 468, 471 and 477(A) of IPC, which was registered on 17.02.2022. The grievance of the petitioners is that they have been harassed by the third respondent police under the guise of an enquiry. Hence, this petition. 3.Today(09.07.2024), when this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that after completion of investigation in Crime No.1 of 2022, a final report has been filed before the Chief 2/5

Judicial Magistrate Court, Karur and the same was taken on file in CC No.255 of 2022.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, which was taken on file in CC No.255 of 2022 by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karur, if they are aggrieved.
