praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to survey and demarcate the land in Survey Nos.165/2A1B, 166/3B1B to an extent of 25 cent at Chettinayakkanpatti, Dindigul-West (Taluk), Dindigul-District and mark the boundaries and provide the report to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2025, in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to survey and demarcate the land in Survey Nos.165/2A1B, 166/3B1B to an extent of 25 cent at Chettinayakkanpatti, Dindigul-West (Taluk), Dindigul-District and mark the boundaries and provide the report to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2025, in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that already, the claim of the petitioner was considered and surveyed. However, the petitioner was not satisfied. The petitioner is seeking to survey based on DGPS which is drone survey. Hence, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 2/5

submitted that the appropriate authority to conduct the site survey is the Assistant Director (Land Survey), who has not been impleaded as a party in the writ petition.

3.Therefore, this Court is suo motu impleading the "Assistant Director (Land Survey), Collectorate Building, Dindigul District", as 5th respondent. The 5th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2025. The petitioner is also directed to pay the appropriate fee, which the 5th respondent would fix. The 5th respondent shall conduct a survey through DGPS within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is specifically directed that the 5th respondent shall issue notice to all the rival claimants, especially 4th respondent and thereafter, conduct the survey.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
