: Conemnors No.1 & 2/ Respondents No.1 & 3 PRAYER: Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, praying to initiate contempt proceedings against the Contemnors Nos.1 and 2/Respondents Nos.1 and 3 for their wilful disobedience to the order of this Hon'ble Court in H.C.P.(MD) No.1049 of 2018 dated 24.07.2019 and punish them under the Contempt of Court Act. Prayer in HCP(MD)No.1049 of 2018:

Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body and person of the detenu namely Meeran Mideen, aged 47 years, son of Khadar Mideen now confined at Madurai Central Prison and set him at liberty by extending the benefit of G.O.Ms.64, Home (Pri IV) Department, dated 01.02.2018 passed by the Respondent No.1.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA., J) This Contempt Petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the Contemnors/Respondents and punish them for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in H.C.P.(MD) No.1049 of 2018 dated 24.07.2019.

2.Mr.R.Alagumani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that nothing survives in this Contempt Petition as the order of this Court in H.C.P.(MD) No.1049 of 2018 has been complied with.

3.In view of the same, the Contempt Petition is closed as infructuous.
