The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondent from entering upon and undertaking any unauthorised formation of a road in the petitioner's private patta land comprised in S.No.49/1B, situated in Senkarkovil Village, Vellikatti Panchayat, Vagaikudi Group, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on the basis of written instructions received, submitted that the said survey number is a private property and that no road has been laid in the said land. It is further submitted that the road has been laid excluding the said survey number.

3. Recording the above submission, this writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
