ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the 4th respondent in F.No.Southern / 1-3512544338 /2018 / No Admission dated 30.04.2018 and to quash the same and consequently directing the respondents 4 and 5 to grant Extension of Approval for the academic year 2018-19 in respect of Post Graduate / Under Graduate Engineering Courses in favour of the Petitioner College.
2. Heard, Mr.Rajasekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.T.Amjad Khan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, Mr.J.John Rajadurai, learned standing counsel appearing for 3rd respondent, Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned standing counsel appearing for 4th respondent and carefully perused the materials available on record.
3. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the college itself, namely, Kalaivanar N.S.K.College of Engineering, has been closed down and is not functional 3/6
anymore. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.
4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. No costs.
