ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused No.1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 447 and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.259 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to civil dispute, on 14.07.2022, the petitioner abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and also threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is a civil dispute, which has been given criminal colour. The petitioner is an innocent person and he did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

CRL OP(MD). No.16462 of 2022 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner is having two previous case and the investigation is at the preliminary stage.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also the fact that the investigation is in preliminary stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 16/09/2022 / TRUE COPY / /09/2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
