The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to cancel the permission granted to the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.415/Mines/2021 dated 21.03.2023 in connection with the permission to quarry 20000 cubic meter of gravel in the lake comprised in Survey No.209/2 Part over an extent of 2.280 Hectares out of 46.68.00 Hectares in Kadhapatti PWD Tank, Pazhaiyapatti North Village, Boodhalur Taluk, Thanjavur District.
