The petitioner seeks production of the person of her son Pandiyan, who is aged about 47 years.

2. Even according to the petitioner, the detenu is mentally disturbed and he went missing from 10.03.2021.

3. Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State upon instructions would submit that the police are taking earnest efforts to trace the missing person and a man missing case has also been registered. 4. In these circumstances, we do not think that any useful purpose will be served by keeping this petition pending. The Habeas Corpus Petition is therefore closed.

5. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jeeyapuram, Trichy, is required to monitor the investigation.
