[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to form a temporary shed around the corridor of the Lord Subramaniya Swamy Temple, situated at Tiruchendur in Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2018, within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the main grievance of the petitioner, as narrated in his representation dated 17.05.2018, has already been redressed inasmuch as a permanent shed has been erected around the corridor of the Temple and with regard to the other grievances, the second respondent will take into consideration of the same and pass appropriate orders.

3. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent, the writ petition is closed. However, as submitted by the learned counsel for the second respondent, the second respondent shall consider the grievances of the petitioner, except formation of a temporary shed as a permanent shed has already been erected, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible.
