consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.11.2014 with regard to transfer the patta to the petitioner and his wife Jeyanthi in respect of the properties situated in Pudukkottai Registration District, Karambakudi Sub Registrar Office, Mullankurichi South Village for the punja lands in S.No. 515/3 to the extent of 12 cents and survey No.515/3C to the extent of 16 cents and S.No.515/3D to the extent of 7 cents, totally 35 cents and Mullankurichi south village, in Survey No.564/11B to the extent of 963 square feet.

The writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.11.2014, with regard to the transfer of patta.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and also considering that the representation was made as early as in the year 2014, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 3rd

respondent, within a period of two weeks from today and on receipt of such representation, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the same, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, as well as the respondents 4 to 6 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.

3. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
